Después de tantos años como gastrónomo y amante de la buena mesa, durante una visita a Hungría decidí aventurarme a probar algo diferente: un restaurante vasco-latino. Mi sangre vasca tiraba fuerte, y la curiosidad hizo el resto. La experiencia fue excepcional. El maridaje me sorprendió gratamente y el profesionalismo del equipo fue el mejor que he encontrado en Hungría. Tuve, además, el gusto de conocer a los dueños y al excelente chef André, a quien felicito por su talento y dedicación. Quisiera hacer extensivo mi reconocimiento a quien selecciona las carnes y a quienes elaboran los embutidos: su trabajo merece una mención especial. Mis más sinceras felicitaciones a todo el equipo por una experiencia gastronómica memorable.

Another wonderful experience at Cut & Barrel Salumeria – Vineria during Restaurant Week! The elegant atmosphere, warm and attentive service, and delicious food were all excellent, as always. The portions were generous, and the menu offered a great selection of dishes. The added bonus is the impressive range of wines and drinks available to purchase from their wine shop. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed, cosy meal with friends or family, sharing good food and good conversation. Everything, from the food to the service, is consistently excellent. Honestly, there’s nothing to fault. Highly recommended!

Az ételek tökéletesek voltak, nem csalódunk a helyben. Nagy steakrajongóként pompás, de tényleg nem volt olyan tétel a menün amitől ne esett le volna az állunk. Italok kiszolgálása is nagyon magas szinten van. A kiszolgálás is mennyei, nem vagyunk nagy fine-dining rajongók, és talán picit amatőr módon járunk el rendelésnél, de nagyon segítőkészek a pincérek, nem néznek le, segítenek a választásban.

Generous portions and super flavors as always. The tiradito fish and lemon dessert standing out this time (though I could eat the beef tartare or tuna taco signature dishes every single day). Impeccable service and excellent wines.

The waiters were very friendly and gave good explanations about food and wine. The wine choices completed very well the courses. We expected that 500 gr meat was too much (per person) but it melted in our mouth.

Már maga a helyszín is lenyűgöző, de a fogadtatás, a kiszolgálás és az ételek minősége is magas színvonalú. Külön tetszett, hogy igazából az eredeti étlapról állítottak össze egy kóstoló menüt, így tudjuk, hogy mire számítsunk ha legközelebb megyünk.

A Cut & Barrel megtalálása egy kis kalanddal indult, amin utólag már csak nevetünk: végig ott volt, ahol először kerestük, csak egy picit tovább kellett volna mennünk. 😊 Nagyon kedvesen fogadtak minket, a pincérek pedig végig figyelmesek és segítőkészek voltak. Meséltek a fogásokról, ajánlottak hozzájuk illő borokat, és segítettek eligazodni a kínálatban. Jó érzés volt, hogy minden kérdésünkre szívesen válaszoltak. A hangulat csodás volt, az ételek pedig isteniek! Először jártunk itt, de biztosan nem utoljára. 🥂

A Cut & Barrelben jártunk csütörtök este az Étteremhét keretében, és összességében nagyon kellemes vacsoraélményben volt részünk, kifejezetten jó ár-érték arány mellett. A fogadtatás gyors és gördülékeny volt, a szerviz pedig végig figyelmes, kedves és precíz. Külön pozitívum, hogy az argentin pincérünk magyarul is beszélt, és a két üveg bor, valamint az extra rendelés mellett is jól tartotta a tempót. Az előételek közül a marhatatár vitte a prímet, remekül volt fűszerezve, a sonkatál pedig a hajszálvékonyra szeletelt felvágottakkal szintén jól működött. A főétel, a steak volt az este csúcspontja: tökéletes elkészítés, hibátlan köret és igényes tálalás. Nem egy túlgondolt fogás, de a maga egyszerűségében kiváló. A csokoládés és citromos desszertek már kevésbé voltak emlékezetesek, de kellemes lezárást adtak a vacsorának. Ami kevésbé tetszett, az az asztalunk elhelyezkedése. Az étterem a Winehub üzletével közös légtérben található, és mi konkrétan az üzlet egyik polcsora mellett kaptunk helyet, ami számomra kevésbé illett a vacsora hangulatához. A bejárat felőli éttermi enteriőr sokkal jobban tetszett, így egy szerencsésebb asztallal még teljesebb lett volna az élmény. Ettől függetlenül abszolút megérte, és összességében szívesen ajánlom!

Ahogy korábbi látogatásaink során, úgy most is kiváló volt az étel (az étterem hét menü mellé két kiegészítőt rendeltünk, bár a menü önmagában is elegendő lett volna), a felszolgálás kedves és figyelmes.

Látszik, hogy a tulajdonos szívvel-lélekkel alkotta meg ezt a fantasztikus helyet. Az interiőr, a kollégák, az ételek mind-mind kiváló volt!

I’ve had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant multiple times already, and honestly it never disappoints. The menu is exquisite, directly sourced from Argentina, the wines are delicious and the quality saves you from next day’s hangover. Minden éttermi héten elmegyünk, kitűnő a menü, változatos, különleges, magas minőségű.

Csapatépítőre érkeztünk, amit szórakoztatóvá tett az ételek megosztása. A pincérek kedvesek, viccesek és proffeszionálisak voltak! Csodálatos esténk volt, biztosan vissza fogunk térni!

Már harmadjára tértünk vissza ide, minden szuper volt most is. Talán ami picit zavaró, hogy nem minden felszolgáló beszél magyarul, (így egy-egy fogásnál a társaságunk nem minden tagja értette az étel bemutatását). Ugyanakkor kértük, hogy magyar felszolgálást kapjunk és meg tudták oldani a felszolgálók, ezzel is figyelve a mi kérésünket, így ez plusz pont nekik. :) Ételek nagyon finomak voltak, mint mindig. :)

Az ételek kifogástalanok voltak.(Ha nagyon bele akarnék kötni,akkor a desszert tejszínhabjának az állaga kicsit természetellenesnek hatott,de az ízét nem befolyásolta). Nagyon jó hangulata van az étteremnek,amit a kiszolgálás csak fokoz.Mind az argentin mind a magyar-Attila-pincér rendkívül udvarias,előzékeny,barátságos volt és a megfelelő információkat is is megkaptuk tőlük az ételekkel,italokkal kapcsolatban.

A Cut&Barrell tokeletesen megfogta az etteremhet lenyeget. Belekostolhattunk abba, hogy megis mikent gondolkodnak a gasztronomiarol, es meghoztak a kedvet, hogy maskor is menjunk hozzajuk. A steak pedig isteni volt.

Annyira finomat ettünk! Az étteremhét meglepetése volt ez a hely, minden mennyei finom volt, pedig én aztán tudok kritizálni :D Minden, amit kétkedéssel fogadtam, végülis pozitív élmény volt. Nagyon finoman vannak ízesítve az ételek, törekednek a komplexitásra. A kiszolgálás kedves, de nem tolakodó, a környezet elegáns, de nem feszélyező. Biztosan vissza fogunk még menni.

Kellemes hangulatú étterem, kiváló minőségű fogásokkal, egy fantasztikus gasztronómiai élmény. A húsok szerelmesei igazi mennyországba csöppennek.

The Argentinian steak was incredibly tender and full of flavour - as always - but the new tiradito de seriola deserves just as much attention. It looked like something you’d be served on the Peruvian coast, beautifully presented too. Two very different dishes that show why menu is worth exploring!

The service is always nice and friendly. The steak was perfectly cooked and I loved the touch of empanadas as an appetizer! If I may give some feedback for desserts, lemon sorbet was overly sour, it was a bit difficult to eat. We miss the dessert that was included in Dining city menu in March 2025 - creamy milk chocolate with fruit! But overall - always a great experience, delicious food and nice atmosphere. We keep coming back :)

Az éttermi látogatás minden szempontból kifogástalan élményt nyújtott. Az ételek minősége, ízvilága és tálalása egyaránt kiemelkedő volt, a kiszolgálás professzionális, udvarias és figyelmes. A kellemes környezet, a magas színvonalú vendéglátás és a részletekre fordított figyelem tökéletes összhangot teremtett. Összességében minden elvárást felülmúló, prémium színvonalú gasztronómiai élményben volt részünk, amelyet bátran ajánlok másoknak is.

Nagyon profi, kedves kiszolgálás volt, nem minden felszolgáló beszélt magyarul, de mindig részletesen beszéltek az ételekről, mikor kihozták őket. Nem kellett sokat várni az ételekre, a steak is tökéletesen meg volt sülve, a menün kívül pluszba kaptunk még előételnek egy kis apróságot. Sokan voltak az étteremben, de nagyszerű élmény volt, minden étel finom és minőségi volt. Köszönjük!

We’ve enjoyed wonderful steaks all over the world, but this was something truly special. Cooked to perfection and presented with such care, every detail made the evening feel memorable. The team were warm, attentive and wonderfully knowledgeable, adding to the sense of being somewhere special. Of all the restaurants we visited during Dining City Week, this was our favourite—an unforgettable evening we’ll remember fondly.

We had dinner there. The most impressive dish was the steak, it had high quality, well balanced, with a pink center.Especially I was impressed by the two sauces, one was fresh vegetables, and the other was a light oil with garlicky flavor. I preferred the fresh one, and I was surprised at how well fresh vegetables paired with steak. The staff were very nice and professional. We finished dinner at night, so they gave us two discount coupons for the wine store. The decoration was so cool, I loved the vintage car.

I would cross the country for that steak again. Beautifully cooked, full of flavor, and the kind of dish that makes you stop talking for a moment. The house-made charcuterie was a revelation too. I’ve never tasted ham and salami quite like it. The industrial setting gives Cut & Barrel so much character, and the staff made the whole evening feel effortless. Easily the best service I’ve experienced in Hungary. We lingered over wine, then wandered around the wine shop before leaving. A very unique way to lose track of an evening.

A charcuterie már az elején megadta az alaphangot: karakteres érlelt húsok, friss kenyér, és az a jóleső csipegetés, amikor mindenből visszakóstolnál még egy falatot. A tatár nálam telitalálat. Gazdag ízek, de a marhahús végig főszerepben maradt. A Josperen sült argentin steak volt az este csúcspontja: gyönyörű pörzsíz, szaftos hús, mellé egy nagyon izgalmas burgonya és szószok. A desszertek is finomak voltak, érdekes ízpárosításokkal – kellemes lezárása a vacsorának. A csapat pedig pontosan érzi a ritmust: kedvesek, figyelmesek, ott vannak, amikor szükség van rájuk, közben hagynak elmerülni a vacsorában. Fantasztikus este volt.

Az étel és a felszolgálás is kifogástalan volt.

Tegnap este a barátnőmmel vacsoráztunk az étteremben. Az előételek tökéletesen előkészítették az gyomrunkat, a fő attrakció, a marhahús hihetetlenül omlós volt, a vacsorát pedig egy izgalmas, hűsítő szorbet desszerttel zártuk. A finom falatok mellé proseccot ittunk és a kiszolgálás is nagyon kedves volt. Biztosan visszatérünk még!

A hely a negszokott magas minőséget hozta és előző látogatásunkhoz képest normalizálták az étteremheti adagok méretét, amit nagyon pozitív változásként éltünk meg.

Nagyon jó a koncepció a shared ételekkel, maximálisan jól laktunk és elképesztően minőségi ételeket ettünk. A steak szó szerint vajpuha volt, a borpárosítások is nagyon jól passzoltak az ételekhez. A személyzet nagyon profi és kedvesek, de nem tolakodóak. :)

Everytime I go to Cut&Barrel the food is tremendously good! The meat, the potato’s, the tartar … I’m already getting hungry again writing this review! I cannot wait to go again … P.S. Definitely also order the tuna taco and the provoleta! They’re just out of this world!
