101Tigris, the sibling of the Dining Guide Top100 listed 101Bistro and 101Neo, focuses on and aims to present the diverse Chinese noodle culture. The no-frills dishes take us straight to the world of ramen and noodle dishes, so in a blink we can feel ourselves in Asian everyday life, where instead of unnecessary exaggerations, we can partake in an honest, simple meal. Homemade, traditional alkaline pasta is added one by one to the soups and pasta dishes, which are made within house in very few places in Hungary. In addition, another specialty of 101Tigris are the Chinese dumplings, also made locally, which gives its unique authenticity to the fact that its maker makes them with more than 40 years of experience, based on an ancient family recipe. So it's definitely not worth missing when you're here, just like the restaurant's signature golden kimchi, the 'Újlipotváros' chicken soup or the udon noodles with sesame and minced pork.
