Urban Betyár Restaurant in Budapest

I know Urban Betyar Étterem as a restaurant since holiday trip in 2016. A very good kitchen and a good staff. I wanted lamb racks rare, what is not possible if prepared sous-vide, what they came to explain me. Others don’t do………. Since I am living in Budapest (2024), I was there several times and they never disappointed me. I will in the future often return !

Nagyon szép a hely, az alsó részen kiállítással, a kiszolgálás nagyon jó volt, az ételek egytől egyig mennyeiek.

Visited on Saturday lunch. Restourant is in great spot, in the centre, just few steps from Basilica. It is spacious, cosy, somewhat high end. Service is distinguished, friendly and helpful. For starter I had a lobster creame soup, which was tasty and well made. Then for the main dish was fish filet with peas and very creamy and tasty cauliflower puree. Also all very well made, fish was juicy and prepared just right. And as a desert I took eclair with strawberry filling and ice-cream. It was also great. One other fact I like is that all those dishes during Dinning Week are from restaurant regular rotation, so I would be able to order them during my next visits as well. Highly recommend this place.

A hely maga különleges, de erősen túlárazott, és hiába a sok felszolgáló, vadászni kell őket.
