In district 3 of Budapest (only 2 minutes from the Árpád bridge), with its Hungarian specialties and live music, restaurant Kéhli awaits its guests, since 1899.
„Dear Guests,
We warmly welcome you in our „story-telling” old house, opened at the beginning of the 19th century by the Kéhli family. The Kéhlis ran their business with such a care that their name became well-known even in their own time.
Kéhli, surrounded by some similary old houses, keeps a little slice of the past alive, owing thanks to the well-known regular guest of the past, Gyula Krúdy, the great Hungarian writer.
Dear Guests! We invite you to visit us often and bring with yourselves everyone who, apart from the joys of eating, wish to enjoy live music and dance away the hardships of the working day.
Together with our families, my colleagues and I wish you a good appetite and a pleasant stay:
Tibor Cecei-Horváth (owner)”
