Our chefs participated in almost every gastronomic competition and professional forum in the past decades and the restaurant was elected "Trattoria of the Year". Moreover, it was granted with the "Védnöki Tábla" (the official acknowledgement of the Hungarian National Gastronomic Association).
We may venture to declare Kakas to be one of the few restaurants praised by both Hungarian and foreign quests.
