My recent (and first) visit to the Gundel restaurant was simply perfect. It was for a special occasion (my Mother's 70th birthday). I had made the reservation on line. Katalin was extremely helpful and accommodating. It was clear that nothing was too much trouble. On arrival at the restaurant we were immediately welcomed and treated as if we were friends. From that moment on we received the highest standard of service. The food was delicious. Every plate was cleared! The Gundel pancake with the flaming chocolate sauce is a must! As promised by Katalin they helped make the occasion special by having the band play "Happy Birthday" and bringing a birthday cake to the table. The timing of this treat was just right and came as a complete surprise to my Mum. The cake even looked real and it was only after the candle was blown out that the cake was lifted off its base to reveal a piece of Gundel cake - another surprise and it added a bit of fun as well. The evening was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. It was clear that even when we were not being served, the waiter attending us was observing us because, for example, as our drinks started to get low he would appear and replenish our glass, and be there to greet us back to our table when we left for the washroom. The food was served at the right pace which meant that there was time for each course to settle before the next one arrived. Even when the meal had finished we remained at the table enjoying the band for a while before leaving and we were not rushed away like in some restaurants. When we left we were escorted to our taxi. The whole evening was wonderful and very memorable for all the right reasons. I would absolutely recommend to anyone the Gundel restaurant. It is without a doubt simply brilliant. Thank you to all the staff there who helped me give my Mum the perfect birthday!

Nagyon örülünk annak, hogy a Gundel étterem vezetősége és az alkalmazottai meg tudtàk őrizni a hely hangulatát és a megszokot minőséget . Kellemes volt,finom és felejthetetlen ugyan úgy mint mindig ! Köszönjük!

Tisztelt Hölgyem/Uram! Tegnap (2012.05.23-án) tértem be a Latinovits Kávézóba. Rövid megjegyzésem a következő: A capuccino megfelelőképpen zamatos és ízletes volt, ebből következtettem arra, hogy jó minőségű kávéból, kiváló géppel készült. Az viszont megdöbbentett, hogy az ország egyik legdrágább capuccinójához kísérő vizet, de még csak egy darab szalvétát sem kaptam.
